The man behind the camera is me, Dennis Aberson from the Netherlands. I'm currently 29 years old and work as a network and systems administrator.

I started photography in 2003 when I bought my first camera, a minolta maxxum 5 with the basic lenses. That's when photography got a firm grip on me and wouldn't let go. I bought John Shaw's book on Nature photography and taught myself about manually operating the camera, exposures, filters and other techniques. A book that is highly recommended for any beginner. From there on I improved my technique with each trip I took and learning by trial and error.
